
Jennifer Grey (born March 26 1959) is an American actress. She made her acting debut with the movie Reckless (1984), and had her breakthrough in the teen comedy film Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). After her role in Dirty Dancing (1987), an intimate drama about love, Frances Houseman earned her worldwide fame. Other feature films she has appeared in include Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1984), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989), Bounce (2000), Redbelt (2008), The Wind Rises (2013), In Your Eyes (2014), Duck Duck Goose (2018), and Bittersweet Symphony (2019). Grey's work on television started with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989) as well as If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also appeared as Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has also performed voice-overs in film and television, appearing in the film of the year Duck Duck Goose and the animated TV series Phineas and Ferb in 2008.
