Amber Benson is an American actress, director, and producer. Her most famous role is being the character Tara Maclay from the TV Series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and starred as the leading actress in those films. Additionally, she was her bridesmaid in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson, her mother was a psychologist as well as an artist named Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8, 1977. She has a younger sister Danielle, who is an artist.
