Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions for the One Direction band. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where he formed his own group of musicians with 3 classmates. The band he called White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. He always had an interest in the arts, however he also wished to become a lawyer, physiotherapist or even scout. For a while he worked for a short time in a bakeshop in the city he lived in with the aim of helping financially at home. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was recorded by Stevie Wonder. His group was compelled to break up due to the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in 2010. The group sang The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In result, they made it to the finalists. But they finished placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to win the competition. But Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
