Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is the mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. She is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother comes from Spanish and English heritage. Taylor Joy also has 4 brothers and sisters, with one coming in each parent's prior marriages. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, and the family relocated from the city of Victoria at the time of London. Taylor-Joy says that moving into London was difficult and she did not take the time to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. She had to switch schools to Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always wanted to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the possibility to model.
